Emxys technology presentation at IAC

Emxys CTO presents its company promising space technologies at the 63rd International Astronautical Conference.

Emxys as prime contractor, together with a team formed by ITEAM, Tecnalia  and ICFO and funded by the European Space Agency, has developed a new technology for high temperature sensing based on Fiber Bragg Gratings engraved within optical fibres to substitute more traditional temperature sensors based on thermocouples or platinum resistors..

The XCube microsatellite platform is an evolution of the Cubesat standard in development by Emxys for supporting scientific, technology development, Earth observation and telecommunication payloads of up to 20kg.

The International Astronautical Conference is held every year, generally in early October, and organised by the IAF together with its associates the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) and the International Institute of Space Law (IISL).
